Understanding Conditions

Most items are Thrifted, meaning that they are not newly direct from the manufacturer. They may be liquidation or clearance items from a retailer or pre-purchased and worn, short-term or long-term, before reaching Odd Closet.

The description of each item will display the specific condition as NWT (new with tags), NWOT (new without tags) NSOW (no signs of wear) or SOW (signs of wear). SOW are considered minor and can include things from scuffed soles of shoes and zippers to the relaxed feel of fabrics such as leather and denim. 

Care is taken to accurately represent conditions of each item with additional photos. 

All items are professionally cleaned, inspected, repaired, altered or remade as needed.
